Head To Heart Therapeutic Yoga

Welcome to Head To Heart Therapeutic Yoga

The head and heart are in constant communication with each other – this is part of the human experience. Unfortunately, modern-day life can put our logical thoughts and emotional feelings out of balance. 21st Century neuroscience is finally catching up with what the ancient and modern Yogis have known for 5000 years  – Yoga is therapeutic, healing, and helps us to restore balance in our lives. We now know that we can adjust our thinking, emotions, and health through movement, breath, and mindfulness. A yoga practice can make us strong, flexible, self-compassionate, and balanced –  both on and off the yoga mat.

Growing Om Yoga In Schools

The school year is over and we can all relax our jaws and lower our shoulders. It has been super stressful. But that doesn’t mean the COVID impact will be erased from the lives of children.

We have all punched some tough years. Mental health professionals are predicting that stressors connected to COVID will cast a long shadow in the lives of children and families. Since children spend a significant part of their lives within a school setting, it is vital that our school communities model and support life-long mental health practices.
