What helps Lisa stay calm and alert: Her daily gratitude practice, time in my neuro-diverse community, writing, exercise with music,  singing lessons, audiobooks, podcasts, volunteering, laughing with my kids, learning, cooking Indian food, and tea (lots and lots of tea).

  • Certified in Pivotal Response Treatment Therapy for Autism, University
    of California, Santa Barbara, USA.
  • Certified Level 1 & 2 in Self-Reg™ through The MEHRIT Center in Ontario.
  • Certified Level 1 Play Therapy from The Canadian Association for Child and Play Therapy.
  • 200-HR Certifed Yoga Teacher
  • Participating in 800-HR Yoga Therapy Certification through Breathing Deeply
  • Post-Secondary Instructor in Early Childhood Education, Special Needs and Student Assisting.
  • Supported adult learners in post-secondary settings.
  • Created and facilitated Play Pals Autism Intervention Play Group.
